Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee Designates Plant City Main Street as the Florida Main Street Program of the Month
Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced that Plant City Main Street has been designated the November 2021 Florida Main Street Program of the Month.
"Plant City Main Street's revitalization efforts are inspiring," said Secretary Lee. "By supporting their local businesses through community partnerships, special events, education, and promotional opportunities, Plant City Main Street is helping create a vibrant downtown district for residents and visitors to enjoy."

Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced that Chattahoochee Main Street has been designated the October 2021 Florida Main Street Program of the Month.
"Chattahoochee Main Street has shown incredible resilience and strength in response to natural and economic adversities," said Secretary Lee.
Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee Designates Crystal River Main Street as the Florida Main Street Program of the Month
Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced that Crystal River Main Street has been designated the September 2021 Florida Main Street Program of the Month.
"I am thrilled to recognize Crystal River Main Street for their accomplishments," said Secretary Lee. "Their program is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when Main Street organizations partner closely with their local government."
Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee Designates Havana Main Street as the Florida Main Street Program of the Month
Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced that Havana Main Street has been recognized as the August 2021 Florida Main Street Program of the Month.
“Havana Main Street has developed their former retail corridor into a vibrant and dynamic arts district,” said Secretary Lee.
Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee Announces 2021 Nationally Recognized Florida Main Street Programs
Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee recognizes this year’s nationally accredited and affiliate Florida Main Street programs. A total of 48 participating Florida Main Street programs were recognized by the National Main Street Center.
“Congratulations to this year’s nationally recognized programs,” said Secretary Lee. “I am proud to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all of Florida’s Main Street programs. Your commitment to your local communities is inspiring, and I look forward to your continued achievements.”
Winners of Florida Main Street's 2021 Secretary of State Awards Announced
The winners of this year’s Secretary of State Awards were announced during the Preservation on Main Street Conference in New Port Richey, Florida. The annual awards program recognizes the innovative projects, people, organizations, and businesses in Florida’s Main Street communities.
“I am happy to announce and celebrate this year’s award recipients,” said Secretary Lee. “These Main Street organizations continue to work towards their goal of community revitalization in Florida’s historic commercial corridors and I am continuously impressed by their dedication and commitment to their local community. Thank you for all you do.”
