 A two-day program is planned for this event. The first day will feature training sessions on a number of important historic preservation issues including legal basics of preservation, standards and guidelines for design review, commission procedures, historic resource surveys, and community engagement. These topics will be presented by the National Alliance of Preservation Commission’s popular “CAMP” speakers. The CAMP training is limited, so register early. The second day will be facilitated by the Florida Division of Historical Resources and include sessions on Preservation Planning and the National Register of Historic Places.

 To provide networking opportunities between CLGs, the workshops will include a networking reception on the program’s first day, and an open discussion session on the program’s second day. You are encouraged to bring discussion topics to this session.

Considering History: A Local Government's Guide to Federal Undertakings and the Section 106 Process Webinar
