Embajadores del Arte Presents Hispanic Heritage at the 22nd Floor Capitol Gallery

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Florida Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announces the opening of the Embajadores del Arte exhibit on the 22nd Floor Capitol Gallery.  An exhibit opening reception will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

The Florida Department of State is honored to host this stunning exhibit by Embajadores del Arte,” said Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee. “This exhibition of artwork is rich in color, composition, and visual imagery. It is a prime example of how Hispanic culture enriches the lives of Floridians.  Especially during Hispanic Heritage Month, we are thankful for our Hispanic residents and their contributions to making Florida a vibrant place to live and work.” 

 

Embajadores del Arte (Ambassadors of Art) is an art collective with a shared ideology and common goal of promoting peace and love through art. They exhibit their art in person at galleries, museums, fairs, public and governmental events in different parts of the world and virtually, online, and interactive through social media. In addition, they do social work supporting foundations, give workshops, conferences, art talks, and paint live at many of their activities.  The group is very active in social networks and works in cooperation with other organizations of national and international scope.

This exhibit showcases the artwork of Florida Artists from 14 Hispanic countries in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15).  The exhibition is part of the Division of Arts and Culture’s Capitol Complex Exhibition Program and can be seen at the 22nd Floor Gallery of the Florida Capitol.
