Florida Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee Media Availability Tomorrow
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
Florida Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee will be available to the media to discuss Florida’s 2020 Primary Election tomorrow morning at the Department of State’s R.A. Gray Building at 11:30 a.m. The press availability will be in the department’s Gallery for Innovation and the Arts on the first floor. Press will need to be prepared to show their press credentials and arrive early for a wellness screening.
Florida’s preliminary election results will be available on Election Night on the Florida Election Watch website, FloridaElectionWatch.Gov. Please be aware that while Florida polls close at 7 p.m., Florida has two time zones. Voting will not be completed statewide until 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET, at which time, election results will be released. Visitors to the site will be able to track results by county and compare state and county contest results.
Results for the Primary Election will not be official until the Elections Canvassing Commission certifies them on August 27, 2020.
