I liked the GMO debate as it exposes kids to the need of approaching topics from multiple viewpoints.

The book contains an activity for keeping a bonsai tree. This activity could be turned into a program featuring different styles of bonsai trees, participants potting a bonsai tree, and a demonstration on how to properly trim a bonsai tree.
If I could change one thing, it would be:
I would have added a links page to the back of the book that correlates to the Plant Careers section of the book.
