The Division manages the State Library and Archives, supports public libraries, directs records management services, and is the designated information resource provider for the state of Florida.
We are pleased to announce that the Florida Department of State received $1,940,696 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the CARES Act (Public Law 116-136).

During FY2021-22, the percentage of total costs for the Administration of the Annual Program financed with federal money is 66%; the federal dollar amount to be spent on the program is $431,996. This program does not receive any nongovernmental funding.
Many of these resources and programs are funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Florida's LSTA program is administered by the Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.
