Growth Plan for Local History Archives

Boynton Beach City Library local history archives growth plan

The Growth Plan for the Boynton Beach City Library Local History Archives incorporates vision and mission statements, four general goals, objectives for each goal and specific strategies to achieve these objectives. The four goals are to:

  1. Grow and manage our collections.
  2. Expand support for the Archives.
  3. Improve online access to our archival collections.
  4. Improve publicity about the collections to increase their use and encourage archival and other donations.

With this document in hand, we can establish successful partnerships with Boynton Beach community organizations and other City departments, leading to increased participation in and visibility of the Archives.
