- 1. Will this change affect OCLC services other than FirstSearch, Discovery and Navigator?

No. There will be no impact on services that you subscribe to at the local level, such as cataloging or Worldshare ILL.
- 2. We use the Statewide Delivery Service. Will there be any changes to this service?

No. There will be no impact on the Statewide Delivery Service (also known as the courier service or the orange bags) administered by TBLC.
FLIN SHAREit
- 3. Will there be any cost to participate in the new resource sharing platform?

Platform fees are funded by the Library Services and Technology Act, from the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences, and no fees are being passed on to participating libraries.
- 4. Will the statewide resource sharing platform allow us to request items from outside of Florida?

Yes. We will provide more information on this functionality at a later date.
- 5. My library wants to participate in the new statewide resource sharing platform. How do we get involved?

If you would like your library or library system to be among the first on the platform, please fill out an application or contact us at state.library@dos.myflorida.com or 850.245.6687.
- 6. What if my library does not have a Z39.50?

There is a hybrid option that will allow you to upload your records. Please contact us at state.library@dos.myflorida.com or 850.245.6687 with questions or apply for this option online.

- 7. How will this impact my library’s membership in FLIN?

All organizations will be required to renew their FLIN membership. The FLIN Manual (PDF) will be updated to reflect the FLIN SHAREit platform.
