Description
The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville is hiring for the position of Public Art Director.
Our current director is transitioning in her existing contract role with our airport system to manage their public art expansion, while also providing succession training to our incoming director and staying on with our organization as our corporate art project manager in a contracted role.
The Public Art Director role will now allow a public arts professional to enjoy full time dedication to the planning, allocation, and execution of our county’s Percent for Art Program -- in the largest city by area in the United States and one that has grown in population by 21% since the beginning of the pandemic.
This is an exciting role in a dynamic organization - which seeks a collaborative, organized, highly-effective communicator to join our upbeat and productive team.
Salary range is $65-75k commensurate with experience.
