Description
The Coral Springs Museum of Art is seeking qualified art instructors to teach summer art classes and camps for young artists and/or adults in the following disciplines: Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Photography, Printmaking, Portfolio Development, 3D-Design and more. Please be prepared to present portfolio images and examples of student work if possible.
Part-time employees are granted a myriad of benefits by the City of Coral Springs such as free fitness access, community events, employee recognition, event discounts and more! All instructors will be required to participate in a training session, pass a background check and those teaching youth programs will be responsible to pass a Level II background check. Cultural Summer Camp Program + Mini Camp
Cultural Camp Schedule
Monday to Friday 9:30 am- 3:00pm. (closed on holidays)
Teacher Schedule 9:15 am – 3:15pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Each session we will employ 3 instructors:
Pottery
Mixed Media
Painting/Drawing
Teachers will instruct three 2-hour classes a day one for each age groups 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12
Mini Camp Schedule is the same schedule with only 2 instructors

Teachers will keep kids half day and switch ages 7-9 and 10-12

Mini Camp: Aug 8 – 12
Teen Art Studio - Summer Intensives 2 - Week Camp Sessions (Ages 13 - 17)
These immersive studio classes are intended for aspiring artists and designers ages 13-17. Teens learn from teaching artists who will share their artistic skills and experiences first-hand. Sessions are held for 2 weeks with morning and afternoon class options. One instructor for each session.

Summer Art stART camp ages 5-6
Art start is a camp designed for young artist ages 5-6 where they will explore a variety of media. One instructor for each session.
Session A June13- June 24, (no class June 20th) 9:00am-12:00pm
Session C July 11- July 22, 9:00am-12:00pm
Mini Camp August 8- 12, 9:00am-12:00pm
*The starting rate of pay for all new instructors is set at $23.37 per hour. This rate of pay is teaching time only and mandatory City of Coral Springs Onboarding. Pay rate does not include set up, breakdown, or curriculum development time. Lunch breaks are not paid.
